Recently I was in a heated discussion with one of my friend who believed in platonic love. Love as usual is a very complicated thing and on top of it being a philosophical one does not help it a lot.
A major problem with Plato’s theory is that is his highest love is predominantly intellectual, possibly fervent but always a form of rational activity.
The reason platonic friendship or love can be difficult is genetics. Do you remember from our biology class those XX and XY Chromosomes. From a good portion of us, attraction to the opposite sex is genetically “hardwired” into our psyche. There’s no way to avoid it. We find the physical form of the opposite sex attractive, the opposite sex exudes pheromones that we find attractive, even something as simple of the timbre of the voice of a member of the opposite can trigger a romantic response in us.
Add to that the fact that nothing makes a romantic relationship more successful then when the people involved are “friend first”, and it’s easy to see why platonic relationships can be difficult to keep strictly platonic.
So let’s keep platonic to the Greek era and we stick to the 21st century mantra of “KISS” 
I meant “Keep it Sweet and Simple” baba .…..I tell you this generation is way ahead of Platonic era.

Everybody wants to keep it simple..but worlds not so simple nowadays.. so its better to keep a thinking of being platonic at times.
who cares if a greek god comes in front, all that you care is having the most likable by your own view.
Better love the feeling of being into LOVE ..that will definately keep all alive and happy.
